It was officially down for about a month, but in reality it hadn't been anything more than a spammer's paradise for a good long while - no new content, lenient comment filtering, and easy linkage for aggressive SEO-ers (interestingly, this gave us a glimpse at the inner workings of robo-commenting and robo-link-building, which may serve as a good future blog post, but I digress).
The point is, the site was down and it's fate was uncertain. But during the downtime, a little twinkle of a thought hung in the back of my mind:
Perhaps Young Entrepreneur Guide could live again... And so it does!
Certainly, Eric and I have more to share than we did a year or two ago. Our endeavors have evolved quite markedly, even in the last few months. And I personally feel that we have some good info to share with the internet.
So this is going to be a casual spot where we can record our experiences, tips, and anecdotes. Going in, we already know the posts will be irregular (<-a previous ghost-blog has dampened our grand ambition for regular contributions), but we'd love to have you follow along if you wish, and drop us a (non-robo!) comment. While I can't guarantee that we'll have a steady stream of posts, rest assured that we are monitoring the site, and we would love to hear from you and make real connections on the web.
Thanks for reading.
- Mark
